If you’ve done any surfing around the web lately, you have most likely noticed that there is a lot of hoopla surrounding Mayan calendar end times 2012. The Mayan Long Count Calendar is going to end on December 21, 2012, bringing the end of the world as we know it. At first glance this sounds a bit like the Y2K alarm ten years ago – there was a lot of concern about the effect on quality of life but it turned out to be a lot of fuss about an event barely worth notice.

Recently, he did an investigative TV show on the 2012 end of the world prophecy and an alleged conspiracy by our government to hide the truth of the potential perils associated with that date.

Conspiracies and prophecies aside, Governor Ventura uncovered some interesting scientific publications that have not received much press. According to the National Academy of Sciences in a report commissioned by NASA and published in 2009, our Sun’s solar flare activity is expected to peak in 2012. Disturbingly, the report compares this foretasted activity with the solar outbreak of 1859 that fried telegraph wires throughout the modern world.

January 27th, 2010 admin Some are saying the end is nigh, and the due date is sometime in 2012. Some claim the Mayan civilization have foreseen the future and based on their calendar 2012 is the year. Similar ominous prediction was made by Nostradamus. Many others said the end is near more than once in the past. Dates have come and gone, (remember 1999/2000?) These massive hallucinations/panic have happened several times past. But we’re still here…
The question that comes to mind, would you really want to know?
